We have owned 2 dogs that this clinic has taken very good care of. And they do not have a phone service.
The doctor must have been the son. He saved my dogs life once as well.
I have gone here several times for all 4 of my dogs. I have been going to Griffin's for years. This is a very non caring vet. He was very reasonably priced charging me less than half of what my usual vet charges for her routine shots and he gave her a shot and an oral antibiotic for her skin.
I would much rather take my long haired tabby here for shaving and trimming rather than some place I don't know. He is a hands on vet who truly cares about the animals. Dr. Griffin is wonderful with my dogs patient and he always wears a smile. I finally hung up and called back and no one would answer the phone. The veterinarian could not have been nicer and more apologetic.
And if you're fine with clinic type surgery and care then this is the place for you. I wait for almost 15 minutes while they do blood work, the whole time not being able to be with my buddy. Went in to have my dig get urgent care. On Saturday August 20, 2016 I awoke at 4:40 a.m. to my precious fur love of my life of 17 years having seizures in my bed beside me. The older man was not there. The cost is good for shots and services. They don't start seeing patients until 9 AM but when they do they are on a roll going in the order in which you arrive and sign in. I'm seeing a lot of reviews on here that are mistaking this vet's office as a fully staffed and functioning hospital. 770-228-2595.

I dropped my dog off this morning at Griffin Hospital and I was told to call back at 4:30 after surgery. I reluctantly said ok because we're never apart, however, believing she would be cared for and she'd have someone there with her, I agreed. The young lady that answered the phone was also very pleasant and helpful.

Griffin's office may be in an old building that lacks the bells and whistles of a new building, however, he truly CARES about animals.

My dog always had allergies scratching a lot and the vet suggested I use Selsun Blue shampoo and that helped out my dog's itching problem I can't say enough about them their prices are very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone better than all the other vets in Central Georgia without a doubt I always took my coco here whenever she needed anything!

Some have passed at a very elderly age with every possible treatment possible by the wonderful vets at the animal hospital. And then the vet took the time to explain about the tumors that were removed. If you are going in the afternoon they do not see patients until 3pm (they are closed for lunch for a bit). I hope with my review to give you the most honest review you will get from anyone on here. Best vet I have ever been to.
I took my daughter and her sick dog on a Monday morning.
If my dog got out of surgery around 5 PM that means he won't eat or drink anything from Thursday night to Saturday morning.
They really had no clue because No One Was There With her!

It's the only place we will go. When he finally showed up he took my dog on a stretcher to the back which wasn't necessary cause I could carry him.

Very caring. She almost died. The surgeon could be well-trained, I don't know, but I gave a 1 rating because no one cared that I'll spend the entire night not knowing if my dog even made it through surgery. By Monday evening, my cats skin was almost all clear after months of on and off irritation.In addition, Dr. Griffin recently had to care for my parents' dog after it was attacked by another dog in the neighborhood while on a walk. The staff is all very kind and the animals are kept in seemingly good conditions. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! This vet's office is great if you just need a shot or some medication. This is a clinic at best.
