Nothing was said (in my opinion) because it was a celebrity who did it and of course they have to please them before the common folks .There's just something about dining outdoors on a gorgeous day overlooking an even more beautiful view that gets me... so I added a star just for the setting. Would prefer he talk about the menu from 6 ft instead of standing over my shoulder. Service was terrible (I had to go get napkins/cutlery, no check-back after food delivered (wife needed salt/pepper), server did not know what the PBLT sandwich was, after being seated and waiting, waiting, I went up to the hostess to ask for waters (father needs to take medicine) and asked what the soup of the day was- she does not know. service is usually much better.
And a good size portion. American, Vegetarian options. Our server was very attentive and the night couldn't have been better. We had a fabulous lake view from the patio and the food and cocktails were great. In these COVID times, you do need reservations.This is an amazing place with beautiful views of the lake. Steph Curry, Aaron Rogers even Some 49ers greats. Food selections wasn’t great either.After a round of golf, a beautiful and quiet table on the deck, in the shade, was just the ticket. The servers were nice as well.Have eaten there for many years. Brook's Bar & DeckMenus. Take a chance, you're in Tahoe. We love this place! I highly recommend to try it! Service is still attentive, but prices have increased, menu choices have been reduced, sweet potato fries have been eliminated as has the clever beer flights taster.
Highly recommended.They are right on top of the Coronavirus regulations - no crowding, everyone (staff and customers) wearing masks.

This will be a future anniversary site for us ♥️Nice view on deck but service always bad at this restaurant with long wait for food and drinks regardless of season. Book now. He managed to choke down the few chunks of dark meat turkey on the plate (and I wish I'd taken the photo before he did) but the rest of the meal (the stuffing and the green beans) were beyond disgusting.
