What safety measures are they taking? After her return the Salt Lake she worked for Chef Ince-Whiting at Ichiban in Park City for 10 years while earning her A.S. I got the tonkatsu and didn't like it that much. The food was delicious, hot, fresh and there was a great variety.
I tried a couple of the rolls (can't remember which) and they were okay as well. The best part of the visit was a server Ping, she was so polite and friendly. While I ordered teriyaki chicken over rice this time, and this is amazing! The gyoza was good. Critics and patrons were skeptical of Kyoto’s chances for success.With Sam as Chef, creating dishes and managing the kitchen, and Yoshiko leading service and managing the finances, they proved to be the perfect combination for a business that would become an icon in Salt Lake City. The food was great and the atmosphere was charming. Gyoza and Sukiyaki has amazing flavor! The food was good although after eating peanuts for an hour I took most of my meal home. Service was excellent and the food did not disappoint! With a career in music, Yoshiko had no ambition to open and operate her own restaurant.
We also had a side of sushi. Beers are quite overpriced $11 for a large Sapporo Went for a birthday dinner with my son and we had a terrific experience. After tasting the food and enjoying their dining experience, those same critics were dazzled and pleased by the newest restaurant on the block. He was very gracious. :DThis is one of my son's staple "go to" to dine when I'm visiting him in Salt Lake City. My favorite would be the assorted fish over sushi rice, second fav would be the curry rice!! Pork cutlets and sauce is terrific. Their staff, which consists primarily of women, many of whom are Japanese, are always friendly polite and helpful. The rolls and uni were delicious and perfect to my taste buds. The sushi was ok, I guess for Utah. I'm so glad that they're open for takeout during quarantine, and I hope that they will be able to survive for years to come!The food was good. It's just another sushi place that I won't come back to. Sit down dine in is offered now.How is this business operating during COVID-19?
Ordered several rolls and appetizers from here and they all were great.
