Certainly popular though .The Old Ship actually isn't that bad of a pub, I think it just suffers from being 1 minute walk away from some much better pubs! In future we may tailor emails and online advertising based on your location and what you’ve shown an interest in. Standard range of Young's ale on tap, and passable food. A two roomed pub, quite attractive with lead lined windows and a general olde worlde feel.There are eight pumps in all four in each room and on my visit the beers were duplicated on either side, these were Young's Bitter, Special and Winter Warmer plus Twickenham Grandstand, the Young's Bitter reflected its nom de plume and was indeed rather ordinary.
