Great find and very friendly and welcoming staff. Well worth a visit.Good food, great vibe but not so popular as others. Alfresco dining was also available.Don’t let the dated decore deter you.
Apart from being a traditional pub, this property has an old style dining room serving delicious country style meals. There are a number of places in town for dinner but the Woolpack was recommended by a local. The staff were very attentive and friendly, the meals were good pub meals (the roast was a standout), and the service was warm, and the drinks were cool. I enjoyed mine with a traditional pepper sauce. Due to Covid19 they had a reduced menu. Date of visit: November 2019 As of the 13th March 2020, we will no longer be running the Woolpack.

We where told to sit by a finger and then served by the same lady with an appalling and very rude lady, no eye contact, very ubrupt.
