That's the goal for me for this project. STAY FOCUSED ON YOUR WORD ALL YEAR WITH THE ALI PROJECT is a Japanese band with a strong Japanese Aristocrat-style image, consisting of Arika Takarano (宝野アリカ) (vocals & lyrics) and Mikiya Katakura (片倉三起也) (music & arrangement). My approach to this project this year is fairly loose with my main goal being to simply tell a general story of each month this year. For journaling I did a couple things. I love when you use stamps. I included photos of the kids doing distance learning and a zoom call we did with our Creative Team. It doesn't need a ton of decoration or design - give me a home for my words and photos and a few embellishments and that feels like enough for right now (

Second, I added text onto my 6x12 canvases in Photoshop before printing those enlargements. On the last page of the spread I continued with adding the stamped circle along with a chipboard circle onto my photos. Our lives shifted dramatically starting in March and continued into April. I love going larger with my photos when possible and I continue to love this size as an insert. I didn't stick to a specific design formula this time and simply added what felt good in the moment. The final insert/enlarment I added was a photo of me and the girls on a bike ride. And man I love dumping out my box of chipboard to see what I can find. First, I used the "Thankful for..." cards from the May Stories By The Month kit. However, the sound has changed in recent times to take on a darker and more … Thank you so much for the freebie! I knew I wanted to use the "May was" 4x6 card so I looked back through my stash of Story Kit acrylic words and decided that "home" made a whole lot of sense for what life looked like for us in 2020. I created some custom "may the fourth be with you" word art for one of my inserts. I played around with a few different sizes including full page 6x8 and full page 9x12.
