The network they use is not big enough for all of their employees so good luck getting your work done lag, lag, lag.This is a good place to start but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Working in a crisis center also presents challenges due to patients often being intoxicated in psychosis. Hr department has zero concern for staff issues. I truely enjoyed all staff members but most did not stay more than 6 months unfortunately.S/A and Homeless clientele. Management cares more about their pocketbook than patient care. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.In individual therapy, a patient meets one-on-one with a trained psychologist or counselor. Specific dietary plans are designed by professional nutritionists or registered dietitians, and patients follow them in order to positively affect their physical and mental health.Trauma therapy addresses traumatic incidents from a client's past that are likely affecting their present-day experience. Other positions did not do much but sit at desk and monitor patients all shift. Most of the time an outpatient program is designed for someone who has completed an inpatient stay and is looking to continue their growth in recovery. Favoritism is the culture with a side of back stabbing for gain. I loved it when I worked at the Javalina location but I made a mistake and transferred to the Avondale location! We always knew we went in to do the same job but always had a curve ball to deal with. Community Bridges never had a typical work day. It turns and burns employees quickly as if they are all expendable. So it was always a new experience with every patient. Experiential therapy departs from traditional talk therapy by involving the body, and having clients engage in activities, movements, and physical and emotional expression. The culture there is you're not a recovering addict or a felony then you are treated as an out cast.
I have been a patient here at various times for over twenty years and a lot of times its not the staff but the clients who are rude, and insensitive. Many of those suffering from addiction also suffer from mental or emotional illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, or anxiety disorders. Community Bridges is the worst center I have visited, the attention I received has been the worst of all; if you really need help this is not the right place to go.
