Any cold wet afternoons I have spare I will be on the sofa watching Funny Girl again. I prefer Funny Girl, but why not get Funny Lady into the bargain?

Dreary beyond belief.
So whereas I would give Girl 5 stars to my mind the two together merit only 4. A woman opens a bedroom door and it is clear that her husband has another woman in the bedroom with him. A classic.
It came to me very quickly and I was surprised.
Outstanding family film features glorious music.
We see her rise to fame as a Ziegfeld girl, subsequent career, and her personal life, particularly her relationship with Nick Arnstein.
Streisand does every thing including comedy on rollerskates. During viewing, at no point do I think to myself, 'I'm watching a musical', she is an excellent actress and Funny Girl is superbly scripted and edited - it deserved all the award nominations, and of course Babs won Best Actress.
