The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in Huntersville, North Carolina, with teams located primarily in the southeastern United States as well as Illinois and Indiana in the midwestern United States.The Quad City Storm SPHL team announced to begin play in the 2018–19 season as a member of the Southern Professional Hockey League. He played 36 games last season with the BCHL Alberni Valley Bulldogs.Fans may have noticed a very big D-man in the Campbell River Storm exhibition line-up.
