Would recommend if you're looking for some rib-tickling experience!I found out about this place during the "Beneath the Streets" tour (which was really cool and gets you 1/2 off a ticket to the comedy show). They just started serving hot dogs and there good. The room was completely packed and there was no free space to move.
The shows at Big Hunt are intimate, drinks are cheap and easy to get, they have amazing comics on the bill that appeal to a variety of people, and it's a laid back, chill, atmosphere. Never tried stand up myself but I suspect this is a great environment for aspiring comedians. Curbside pickup and shipping available.these guys are starting to figure it out.
I had the opportunity to get tickets to a Sunday night show while in town for a week. In a stressful city like DC I find it feels good to just laugh it off, even if its in a slightly creepy dive bar basement.Very good comedy show on Friday nights.The only downfall is that the show takes in the basement which was very hot to the point the ceiling was sweating and the comedian was drenched in sweat.
