This is not a bad movie but it left me feeling a little unsatisfied. It hits especially hard when viewed hot on the heels of the OVA. Out of nowhere, Okabe disappears and Kurisu must risk everything to save the mad scientist who tried countless times to save her. Watch the series first (conveniently also sold on Amazon, though there's other ways to peep it) then get this movie. While it wasn't entirely necessary to the Anime, it's still great to see these characters again and the story the writers came up with for this film was really well done and pretty emotional at times.
