If you look at the cap in the photo, almost all of the weight is in the metal assembly of the pen clip on the tip which is held on by a phillips-head screw under the cap.Because it was a gift, this became my daily writer.

I knew when I bought it that it was a cartridge only pen, it was a bonus when I found that the push on version of the converter will work. it is a little scratchy on parchment paper but love that sound late at night when everything is quiet.
I got mine for $3.98, I found out later that it was coded incorrectly, should have been $39.98, Staples has since fixed that though. So I just had to try one.
